Dive Bar Week

In the second installment of my Summer of Compliments series, I’m featuring another of my favorite bloggers. Last week was Snake week, in honor of Old Horsetail Snake’s awesome blogsite. This week I’m featuring the author of the Dive Bar Versus, Hermes. http://clownprince.blogspot.com

Hermes likes to remain anonymous and therefore his profile details very little personal information beyond a list of the writers he admires. He is an excellent author of short stories, each one painting such a vivid mental image that the reader is clearly able to envision the scene. My personal favorites are the stories describing his imaginative childhood. He also posts tales about the experiences of a bouncer at a Vegas nightclub. Hermes will never quite come clean about what percentage of his stories come from his own life and what percentage is purely fictional. It’s part of his mystique.

He updates his blog very regularly and his posts are always well-written and intriguing. Stop by and check it out. You’ll be hooked.

Thanks for the compliment Wordwhiz. You are too kind... by the way, that twenty bucks I promised HAS been transferred into your Pay-pal account... keep that hush-hush.

Are you sure to content of my blog agrees with your readers? It might be too R-rated. No feelgood, wholesome pics of hunky firemen there... LOL

Hermes: It's a good place to visit when MY blog has given them too many cavities!!

You're an AWESOME writer. I can't imagine anyone finding your writing offensive. I certainly don't. It can be gritty, but even if the content is not as sappy sweet as mine, your talent is inescapable.
