Proud Parent of a US Army Soldier
I will be mostly out electronic touch until Tuesday of next week. My son arrives home tomorrow night for a short leave from his army base in Fort Sill Oklahoma. Since my computer room becomes his bedroom when he's home, I will have pretty limited access to the computer. Oh...I'll still sneak on from work once in a while. But that would not be the server address that provided Uncle Hof's 1,000's visit! So if I seem awfully quiet for a while, I'm just hanging out with my soldier.
Don't forget me! I'll be back!

I'm always trying to get him to go out in uniform. I try to remind him how much respect he got from total strangers when he flew home from basic training. (The guys were required to travel in their Class A's.) He said to me, "Mom, I got a lot of attention from OLD GUYS. The uniform is not a CHICK MAGNET."
I'm afraid you and I fall into that "OLD" category. He's only interested in impressing 17-19 year old babes. (He's 19.) Ah...youth!!

lol no i meant soon MY army man will be home. i got like 17 days till he comes home.
i find it very odd that no girls went to him. when i was talking to my lover one day, they had a mandatory fun day where they had to go to the mall in there bdu's. and while i was on the phone with him you can hear the commotion. ine girl ran up to him and jumped on him. i was a lil irritated cuz he gloated and enjoyed it.lol
