Retro Trivia
My annual retro party will be taking place this Saturday night. I have 47 guests attending. I hired a DJ to spin 60s-70s tunes. The hall will be catering a buffet meal. Party activities (besides the dancing...yes, DISCO RULES!) will include a 60s/70s trivia contest, a costume contest (all guests must dress for the time period) and a limbo contest to Beach Boys hits. To insure maximum humiliation for all, the event is being video taped. I'll post some photos next week.
In the meantime, if you have any good 60s/70s trivia questions I can add to the list, please post them in the comments. The categories are:

I was born in 1970, so my memories of the 70's are mostly from the mid to late 70's. Still, that party sounds like a blast! If I think of any trivia questions, I'll return and post 'em.

Wordwhiz. I am EXCITED to see the photos. Yes, you better not let down your loyal readers. We expect you to document all of the drunken, wacky debauchery and hijinks... unless you're a part of it, then hand the camera to someone else! ;)

Hermes: Not only do I document all the wild party antics each year, but I choose the 12 most humiliating photos and create a photo calendar, which I give to my wild party friends as Christmas gifts. Actually, I choose 11 photos. The remaining month generally features photos from the annual fireman car wash. I suspect my male friends who get calendars are anxious to move past that month, lest people wonder why they have a hunky fireman calendar hanging on the wall of their cubicle. Oh well...not my problem! The hunky firemen stay!!

How bout this one? What movie won the Academy award for best effects the year BEFORE Star Wars was released? I think that is a fun one.
