No regrets

Paul came down tonight and set up my new TV and DVD player. WOW! Any lingering buyer's remorse I was feeling about having spent far more than I intended to on a television has vanished. What an awesome TV! It fits PERFECTLY in my entertainment armoire; it looks like it was made for it! It's so easy. It automatically set itself up and even set the clock. The picture is unbelievably clear and I love the widescreen format! The color is great, the sound is fantastic. Other than being wicked heavy, I can't think of a negative thing to say about it.

We watched a movie tonight. ("National Treasure" - it's good) I just kept marveling at how great it looked. Afterward, we watched the beginning of a show about haunted places. The first featured location was The Flamingo in Vegas, supposedly haunted by Bugsy Seigel, who founded the resort. It was cool to see our hotel on TV. They referred to is as one of the top hotels in Vegas. COOL!

Happy weekend, everyone!!

You know, even if I managed to scrap up enough money for a bigger TV, I don't have anything to stick it on as the stand I have is for smaller ones. Oh well! Still, if I ever managed to get a new one, I'd mainly use it for what you just did: watch movies on it. I love movies!

Wait a minute! Your TV today has the same picture as it had yesterday. Is that a screen saver?
