Eight Below

Paul and I took my 12-year-old son, PacMan, to see "Eight Below" on Saturday. It's a good movie, but take tissues! I cried and cried and cried...

After the movie, we got pizza, then spent about an hour in Paul's hot tub. PacMan LOVES the hot tub - particularly when it's cold and snowy outside. (The getting out part is a bit difficult!)

Off to do the weekend errands. Happy weekend everyone!

When does CT come out from under the deep freeze? August?

Gene: August sounds about right. Honestly, we've had snow in early April. By late April we're generally clear - except for really harsh winters when we've had so much snow that those piles at the edges of parking lots seem to take until early June to completely melt!

Steve: It was an exercise in boyfriend/son bonding! It seemed to go pretty well. PacMan like the movie, but he's an even bigger fan of the hot tub!!

I'm a big fan of the hot tub as well, but I can't see doing it outside in the freezing cold! I'll bet it was quite an adventure.

Miss C: Oh, it's fun to be warm and toasty in the hot tub when it's cold and snowy outside. Try it sometime!

Jordan: Ms. PacMan, hot?? Honey, you really need to get out more.

My kids want to see that movie! Ok, that's not fair...Ariana in particular wants to see EVERY movie.

I love hot tubs too. When I win the lotto, that's on my list of purchases!
